  8. evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends or colleagues, but please
  9. do not give it away altered or without its associated files. If you find that
  10. you are continuing to use READ after a reasonable trial period, you must make
  11. a registration payment to the author. The registration fee will license ONE
  12. COPY for use on any ONE COMPUTER at any ONE TIME.

  22. When a new release of READ is issued, the files are archived using the PKZIP
  23. format, and with archive filenames of the form READ34.ZIP (where the 34
  24. represents the current version of READ). The following files are included in
  25. each shareware release of the program:

  27.             READ.EXE   The READ ASCII text editing program.
  28.             READ.DOC   ASCII description of the READ program.
  29.             READ.TXT   This ASCII file describing registration.
  30.             READ.ORD   Ready to print ASCII registration form.

  34. Please remember that READ is not free software. As with all Shareware, each
  35. user is expected to purchase it after a reasonable trial period. The
  36. registration fee for READ is only $12, including shipping (please add $2
